STOP COUNTERPRODUCTIVE CONSUMPTION OF GRATUITOUS VERBAL AND VISUAL DIARRHEA

180601 blog image1

Last night I made a huge mistake and broke a cardinal rule of mine. While I should have been sleeping, I read a post about a weird anti-woman diatribe against Ivanka Trump. My mind was still reeling over the Rosanne debacle. The grim reaper of social divisiveness was at work big time.

All of the media attention – television, film, radio and social media – to the emotional tirades and strife filled content (intentional and unintentional) is currently jamming frequencies of healing, reconciliation and unity.

180601 blog image2

On our radio show Changing Your Community Broadcast, my friend and cohost Emmanuel Boose makes some good points. We should not fan the flames of anarchy. Also, selective judgment is fake justice. If you’re going to clean house, be thorough. Talk about draining the swamp…

Can we PLEASE take a step back from political enmity and emotional tirades; stop taking the stealthy anti-Christ bait of strife and division; and try to love each other, not as color blind but as One Race/One Blood human beings?

Yes. I broke my own rule and ignored my own advice against consuming inflammatory verbal and visual garbage when I should be sleeping or praying:

Philippians 4: 6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

My rule: In the ongoing effort to overcome evil with good, it’s wise to avoid intake of a dietary overabundance of vitriol and divisive media driven cerebral dishes at odd hours. In other words, flooding your senses with negative and inflammatory reports early in the morning or late at night is bad for your overall health.

We are facing sensory diarrhea. Are we becoming so anti-everything that we are disrupting all that is good about humanity? Yes, people are dying prematurely. Yes, people are suffering. Yes, we need help. But devouring each other in strife won’t solve our problems. We need a spiritual antacid.

We need a good dose of reconciliation. It won’t hurt to take a bit of time and smell the roses. Promises are being kept from the White House [which lest we forget was built with free labor by our African ancestors].

Across the nation job rates are up, lower tax rates boost families and the economy, lower regulations stimulate growth, no longer punishing business, babies in the womb are safer, [in]justice overhaul is in progress. Let’s continue to Pray for America.

P.S. Please support our Roe V. Wade Movie

Presidential Appointment, Black History Tour, Ram in Thicket, CBC Fallout signal One Blood Racial Reconciliation

Thursday, February 8th, 2018

180208 blog image

Starting with a new Presidential Appointment, Black History Month is full of surprises this year.

President Donald J. Trump has honored one of my heroes, Frederick Douglass with the empowering of “The Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Commission.” It’s a blessing to serve America as a new member of the Commission.

Moving ahead, let’s reflect on the President’s campaign promises to address racism by ensuring us that “when we give everyone a great America; safety, security, a reason to belong, that will serve the issue.” The President also stated early on in his post as Commander in Chief, that: “No matter what color our skin is, we all bleed red.” His insight into the One Blood truth, coupled with his frequent reminders that: “We don’t serve government, we serve God; in God we trust” are encouraging to say the least.

The month started off with the launch of my annual Black History Tour; this time from Titusville, FL – new home of Priests for Life where I’m Director of Civil Rights for The Unborn. It was a blessing to visit local schools and the Titusville campus of Eastern Florida State College.

Meanwhile, the Congressional Black Caucus sat down on the job during President Trump’s inspiring State of the Union Address. The petulant actions of the majority of The CBC are crippling the dreams of America, and must be addressed; expect to hear more from activists for genuine social justice this month.

It was also a blessing to give a “Black History Shout Out” at the 2018 Rose Day Rally in Oklahoma.

It’s also important to note that while we are One Blood/One Race (Acts 17:26), the Black/African American Community still celebrates a month of educating the masses regarding many notable contributions of Blacks in America that are unknown and undocumented in certain historical annals. These efforts are designed to unite us; never to divide us. Herein is a key to unlocking Racial Reconciliation.

There’s been a flurry of discourse regarding the Dodge Ram commercial featuring the voice of MLK with community service as a theme. On a positive note, many are saying that the ad sparked them to find the entire MLK speech and listen to it. That’s millennials for you; ever seeking truth. The line about “a heart to serve” with the ultrasound of the baby’s heartbeat was definitely a kind of Ram in the Bush “aha” moment.

Coming up this month:
White House Black History Event
Launch of King Family Legacy Library at Millennium Gate Museum

Finally, please remember to pray for America, and watch out for KING TRUTHS and the upcoming Roe v Wade movie.

Can Anything Good Come From President Trump? Yes! Happy Paychecks!

Monday, January 29th, 2018

Contrary to “fake news”, current tax cuts commandeered by President Donald Trump are resulting in financial blessings and not just for the rich and famous. Calls are coming in across America about how due to POTUS tax cuts, paychecks have increased in every sector and how job rates are rising and unemployment is falling. Human capital is also rising as POTUS sheds light in the tunnels for womb babies.

Pray for the upcoming State of the Union address. President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, their family and indeed everyone on Team Trump – all are making tremendous sacrifices for God and for America. Please pray:

1 Timothy 2:2 [Pray] for rulers, and for everyone who has authority over us. Pray for these people so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life always lived in a godly and reverent way.

180129 blog image1

Be sure to watch and hear reports from the field; and they are not so few and far between. Of course you’ll have to look for them because fake news sure won’t report them. Here are some good ones:

1. Frank Pavone: SIGN PRIESTS FOR LIFE’S PETITION THANKING PRESIDENT TRUMP FOR WORKING TO PROTECT THE UNBORN!

2. Steve Strang: Faith and the first year of President Trump

3. Bishop Leon Benjamin: Year One: Thank You, Mr. President

4. Testimony with Jensine Bard: Alveda King – KING TRUTHS (Part 1)

5. Testimony with Jensine Bard: Alveda King – KING TRUTHS (Part 2)

6. POTUS green lights Secretary Carson’s HUD ENVISION CENTERS

7. Advances in Ending Abuse against women: Five Actions You Can Take to Protest Fifty Shades Freed

8. The 15:17 to Paris movie: Official Trailer

And Coming up for Black History Month:

1. Looking forward to celebrating Black History Month. Not color blind, seeing and celebrating truth in living colors; One Blood/One Human Race. (Acts 17:26)

2. Opening of new King Family Legacy Library Exhibit at the Millennium Gate Museum in Atlanta on February 17, 2018

3. Celebrating Art, Science and History at the Millennium Gate Museum in Atlanta on March 3, 2018.

Evangelist Alveda C. King: More Surprises Ahead in the Race (No Pun Intended) of the Century

180124 blog image

As we celebrate many landmark victories at the beginning of the 2018 new year, including the new MLK National Historic Park and other historical revelations, we may also be gearing up for the race of the century; President Trump and Oprah. At any rate for now, let us thank God for the opportunities before us. We can be great again.

We are approaching “Black History Month.” Let’s prepare to maximize opportunities for unity and reconciliation as we acknowledge the biblical and scientific evidence that we are not separate races, but are rather One Blood/One human race. This post from my cousin Isaac Newton Farris, Jr. makes some good points.

And who doesn’t love Oprah? Hollywood’s favorite Diva is once again making a splash with words for the curious about who shall see God. According to Miss Winfrey, everyone will see God; with the caveat that Christianity holds no dibs on the opportunity.

Actually, as is often the case with various viewpoints, there is some truth in the diatribe associated with religious debates. With the exception of atheists, most people believe in a “higher power” that we stand to meet one day. I don’t know about you, but I’d like to have the Great Judge as ABBA Father, my “heavenly father” when I stand before the Judgment Seat. We can only experience such a blessing by receiving Jesus as our Lord and Savior before we take our last breaths.

“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

The thing is, while God is the ultimate judge, there is a unique and special opportunity through Christianity to have God not only as our final judge. Yet some choose to avoid the nuances that this opportunity offers.

In closing, let me remind you to please remember to check out our Roe v. Wade movie and my new book, KING TRUTHS.

We are in a crosshairs, with much to lose and more to gain. Remember America in prayer, and let’s thank God for President Trump’s fulfillment of many of his campaign promises. Also, continue in faith and love, praying for all of humanity, for the end of government funded abortions, and for positive solutions in our governmental affairs!

America is Distraught and Distracted by Free Abortions, SOBs, Fallen Idols and Foreign Feuds; Cease Fire, Take the Knee and Pray!

Monday, September 25th, 2017
AD King, Fred Shuttlesworth, Andrew Young 1960s - "The Knee"

AD King, Fred Shuttlesworth, Andrew Young 1960s – “The Knee”

The daily news reports are becoming more and more unbelievable! With the Defund Planned Parenthood Debate looming, Congress has yet to defund PP. Meanwhile abortionists are still offering free death care abortions to hurricane victims. With all the death and devastation that Hurricane Harvey brought to Texas and Louisiana what the people need is life affirming help; shelter, food, clothing, real healthcare, and yes, when pregnant, they need pre-natal care; not killer abortions.

Mothers need love and support; not abortion. If for no other reason we need to end taxpayer dollars to abortion providers who are able to offer free abortions in the face of storms; the Harvey victims, the Irma victims, all the storms victims. America is hurting and killing people is not going to help heal our land. Please America, wake up! Abortion is not healthcare! Pray for America, and choose life!

170922 blog image2

In the midst of this melee, there is a furor regarding the ongoing challenges with today’s young people wanting to “take the knee” and turn their backs on the American Flag. What’s missing in this situation is the lack of knowledge regarding the complete and complicated history of the founding and ongoing American struggle for liberty for all Americans. Our people are truly perishing for lack of knowledge.

Why is the “protest knee” approved while the “freedom to pray knee” is forbidden? Both are constitutional.

As if these two critical boiling points are not enough, there are still painful debates regarding immigration versus national safety and security; and then there is the horrific hostile overthrow of statues and monuments across the country. Remember: God warns us to keep away from idols. Statues of “heroes” that cause race wars are idols.

“You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the LORD your God.” Leviticus 26:1

Acts 17:26: God created all human beings of one blood; so regardless of skin color, we are one human race.

Keep it positive. Avoid disruptive news spin. Let’s continue to pray for our president and all in authority so that we can live peaceful lives. (1Timothy 2:2)

Actually there’s a lot of money at stake in sports, immigration, national memorials, etc. We all have our rants. With all the dissension among us, let’s remember that money can be a liberator or a trap. We are one red blooded race. Racism is a sin. Statues are idols. Our cherished flag is under God, not to be worshipped. For the record, in The Beloved Community, God loves everyone; you, me, NFL players, unborn, rich, poor, old, sick, confused. There is far too much bickering over idolatry. Everyone should “take the knee” in prayer, and ask God to heal America. It’s truly time for America to Return to God.

Racism Must Die So That America Can Thrive.

Monday, August 14th, 2017

Friends, there is a reason why I’m Director of Civil Rights for the Unborn here in the 21st Century. As we see from the most recent racially motivated massacre in Virginia, racism is still alive and raising hell. Think about it. Racism is sin. Hatred is sin. Yet for whatever reason, the pot of domestic terrorism continues to be stirred under the guise of promoting “racial supremacy.” The big lie is that we are separate races, when in fact the spiritual, scientific and biological fact is that we are one blood; one human race [Acts 17:26] Racism and hatred are deadly. This is why I so often quote my Uncle MLK:

“We must learn to live together as brothers [and sisters], or perish together as fools. I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”

We should be grateful that POTUS is calling for a cease fire on the violence. My King Family Legacy foundations have taught me that nonviolent conflict reconciliation is the key to ending these “race wars.”

“Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13

As one of God’s microphones, I’m often required to say what people don’t want to hear. Abortion is racism, in that abortion takes away the civil rights and lives of our weakest and most vulnerable members of the human race, unborn babies.

Here’s an encapsulation of The King Family Legacy’s approach to nonviolent conflict resolution which is introduced here briefly:

SIX STEPS AND PRINCIPLES FOR NONVIOLENT SOCIAL CHANGE – A sequential journey to victory:
Principle 1: Nonviolence is not passive, but requires courage.
Principle 2: Nonviolence seeks reconciliation, not defeat of an adversary.
Principle 3: Nonviolent action is directed at eliminating evil, not destroying an evildoer.
Principle 4: A willingness to accept suffering for the cause, if necessary, but never to inflict it.
Principle 5: A rejection of hatred, animosity or violence of the spirit, as well as refusal to commit physical violence.
Principle 6: Faith that justice will prevail.

Six Steps of nonviolent conflict resolution:

(1.) Prayerfully gather facts.

(2.) Prayerfully educate adversaries and the public about the facts of the dispute.

(3.) Prayerfully commit yourself to live and manifest a nonviolent attitude and actions.

(4.) Prayerfully mediate and negotiate with adversaries in a spirit of goodwill to correct injustice.

(5.) Prayerfully apply nonviolent direct action, such as prayer vigils, marches, boycotts, mass demonstrations, picketing, sit-ins etc., to help persuade or compel adversary to work toward dispute-resolution.

(6.) Prayerfully anticipate reconciliation among adversaries in a win-win outcome in establishing a sense of community which should now be achievable.

Considering the times, I am grateful to be a part of a biological family as well as a spiritual family who embrace these truths. Won’t you join us?

What Do These “Celebrities” (Except Wonder Woman) Have in Common?

Thursday, July 13th, 2017

Celebrities: You either have to love them, hate them, or not care one way or the other. One interesting truth about “celebrity” men and women is that abortions have affected many of them.

I’ve included Wonder Woman in the mix here because the anti-abortion and anti-life (prolife and pro abortion) feminists are both laying claim to the Wonder Woman mystique these days. Will the real super women please stand up?

I could also include photos of men celebrities, because some of them have post abortion testimonies as well. We’ll save that one for part two.

I’ve added a photo of myself from the 1970’s because I became post abortive in 1970 and was still hiding my pain in deep denial back then

Yes, even celebrities have abortions. All of the women in our meme (except Wonder Woman) have had abortions. Thank goodness people are talking more about abortions these days.

At Civil Rights for the Unborn we uncover the injustice of abortion. Abortion isn’t a civil right; it’s a crime against humanity. At Priests for Life, we work hard to end abortion. See Silent No More Awareness and Rachel’s Vineyard and find out why men and women truly regret our abortions.

Also, please read this compelling account about celebrity abortions by Kevin Burke, co-founder of Rachel’s Vineyard. Also read RECALL ABORTION by Priests for Life Executive Director, Janet Morana. After reading one or both please ask yourself these questions:

1. Why must a woman choose between health, safety and security or abortion?
2. How can taking an innocent life save a life?
3. Does the truth really matter?

“Have I now become your enemy because I am telling you the truth?” Galatians 4:16 NLT

Let’s pray for America to end abortion and return to God.

“Fathers’ Day Looms as Domestic Terror Massacre Rocks America”

Thursday, June 15th, 2017

170616 blog image2

“And when we truly believe in the sacredness of human personality, we won’t exploit people, we won’t trample over people with the iron feet of oppression, we won’t kill anybody.” Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

While many were likely buying Fathers’ Day cards for the weekend, America was rocked by terror – again last Wednesday.

In wake of escalating domestic violence, most recently with the violent attack on the GOP, we must pray and respond with nonviolence not fear; our lives depend on Divine Intervention.

This is a national call to prayer and nonviolence in the ongoing face of domestic and global terror. Let us unite behind President Trump and all compassionate leaders calling for peaceful nonviolent solutions as we pray for Congressman Scalise and all victims and their families.

Scalise and others were injured in an attack on Republican lawmakers as they were practicing for a charity baseball game Wednesday. House GOP Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana was critically injured; as well as aides and Capitol police as targets ran for cover. The assailant reportedly had grievances against President Donald Trump and the GOP; and was wounded and killed during the assault.

Reportedly, the FBI has said that the assailant James T. Hodgkinson, a 66-year-old home inspector from Illinois had several minor run-ins with the law previously; and belonged to a Facebook group called “Terminate the Republican Party.”

In a call for prayer and unity, President Donald Trump has said: “Everyone on that field is a public servant. Their sacrifice makes democracy possible. Rep. Steve Scalise, one of the truly great people, is in very tough shape – but he is a real fighter. Pray for Steve!”

Rev. Frank Pavone, National Director Priests for Life posted the following:

“May God awaken his people to [Scalise shooting/Domestic Terroristic Violence] its seriousness, confirm His people in their commitment to nonviolent solutions, and protect and unite all of us as citizens of the greatest nation on earth.

170616 blog imageI remember how my Father Rev. AD King took me to my first peaceful protest. I learned early that prayer and nonviolence are powerful spiritual weapons.

This Fathers’ Day, along with praying for victims of the recent Virginia massacre, some who are likely fathers, I honor the memory of my earthly biological father Rev. AD King; his father and my grandfather Daddy King who rescued me from abortion; my Pastor and Mentor Allen McNair; all of whom live in Heaven now; along with the Greatest Father of all, HEAVENLY FATHER. All praise to GOD, ABBA FATHER, SON JESUS and HOLY SPIRIT.

For the record, from conception, the human personality in the womb has 46 chromosomes; 23 from Dad, 23 from Mom. It takes two to make a baby. “HAPPY FATHERS’ DAY!”

In closing, please pray that fear and violence will be answered by Agape Love, compassion and nonviolent solutions. This Fathers’ Day, Pray for America.

To Be Or Not To Be – A Fourteenth Amendment Perspective

Wednesday, June 7th, 2017

Ever since the ruling of Roe v. Wade on January 22, 1973 the debate continues. In the prolife community we remain very appreciative that President Trump is keeping his promise to defend human life in all stages. Thank you Mr. POTUS.

For anti-abortion pro-lifers, it all boils down to some very important question: Is abortion the taking of a human life? Is abortion health care or death care? Is abortion good for women or do abortions kill human mothers and their human babies?

For pro-aborts the issue is whether a woman has the right to abort the life of a preborn human being.

Recently Harvard Law student Joshua Craddock Harvard Law Journal Concludes Unborn Babies Have Constitutional Rights, addresses these issues.

In 1973 the Supreme Court used the theological examination of “when does life begin” suggesting that babies are not protected as persons under the Fourteenth Amendment. Yet, any 8th grade biology book can answer the question definitively. At the moment of conception 23 genes from the mother and 23 genes from the father unite to form a unique, very real human person.

Even pro-aborts have been acknowledging that abortions take the lives of human beings. Their contention remains that the slaughter is legally acceptable.

Justice Harry Blackmun wrote in his majority decision, “We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins. When those trained in the respective disciplines of medicine, philosophy, and theology are unable to arrive at any consensus, the judiciary, at this point in the development of man’s knowledge, is not in a position to speculate as to the answer.”

Here’s a question for the lawyers, doctors, preachers and laypeople: “The woman has a right to choose what she does with her body; but that baby is not her body. Where is the lawyer for the baby?”

Today science proves that a preborn baby is a human being from the moment of conception. The real question must now be answered: “Should preborn human beings have protection under the Fourteenth Amendment?” Craddock concludes: “They do fall under the Fourteenth Amendment’s protection.”

Acts 17:26: “And God has made from one blood every nation of [humans] to dwell on all the face of the earth…” America, we must agree with God and stop killing our babies. As a repentant post abortive mother, I find encouragement in telling the truth and shaming the devil about the harmful impact of abortion. After all, how can the dream survive abortion?

It’s a blessing to have a President in the White House who is swinging the pendulum back in the direction of dignity for all human life; from the womb to the tomb. Maybe now we can finally stem the abortion scourge, and correct a wrong that cost nearly sixty million babies their lives in America and countless around the globe. America, pray. Return to God.

Reconciliation Begins in the Womb

Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017

If MLK could tweet at memorial

“Where peripherals collide, convergence is imminent.” Evangelist Alveda C. King

In the ongoing Movement to promote racial healing in America, there are unified nationwide efforts growing among spiritual, community and civil rights activists; most recently with some activities converging around the Anniversary of the Assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

There is the upcoming April 3, 2017 kickoff of a Year-Long Campaign beginning on the Eve of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Assassination Anniversary with a goal of creating “National Awareness of a Government Apology for Slavery and Institutional Discrimination” to culminate by the 50th Anniversary of MLK’s death next year.

Also, on March 19, 2017, yours truly joined a “Celebration of Unity” live streaming racial reconciliation rally hosted by The Free Church in Atlanta, GA. The response was positively overwhelming to say the least. It would appear that we are on the road to true Acts 17:26 racial reconciliation.

“In 2008, Congress made history by officially apologizing for chattel slavery in the United States and the subsequent Jim Crowism that plagued black people after emancipation. Everyone knew about the poor treatment, but few know about the rare act of contrition by our government and its intention to heal our nation,” said community activist Ted Hayes, a key organizer of the Day of Love and Reconciliation for Healing. “In my own experience, people knowing that this apology happened goes a long way in changing the minds of people holding negative opinions about America because of its treatment of the black community.”

The initial “Day of Love and Reconciliation for Healing” will be promoted by talk radio hosts of all political leanings drawing attention to H.R. 194 (110th); a resolution passed by the U.S. House of Representatives on July 29, 2008 that “apologize[d] to African Americans on behalf of the people of the United States, for the wrongs committed against them and their ancestors who suffered under slavery and Jim Crow” and “express[ed] its commitment to rectify the lingering consequences of the misdeeds committed against African Americans under slavery and Jim Crow and to stop the occurrence of human rights violations in the future.” A similar resolution was passed by the U.S. Senate almost a year later.

This congressional apology for slavery and Jim Crowism constitutes one of only a handful of times the U.S. government formally apologized for past actions.

A goal of the 3/3 project is that talk radio hosts and their audiences will read on the air and discuss the content and the meaning of the congressional apology for slavery.

Talk radio hosts interested in participating in the April 3 Day of Love and Reconciliation For Healing, or participating at a later date, are encouraged to contact Ted Hayes via apologyforgiven@gmail.com.

“We must learn to live together as brothers [and sisters] or perish together as fools.” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

On an endnote, speaking as Director of Civil Rights for the Unborn with Priests for Life, my co-host Emmanuel Boose of Changing Your Community Radio Show and I will be participating in the reconciliation effort.

We also affirm that one can only long for the day Congress will acknowledge the “One Blood, One Human Race” of Acts 17:26 and apologize for the atrocities suffered society from the ongoing scourge of abortion and its by products. Our shared hope is that someday there will be more legislation, museums and memorials dedicated to the weakest unseen victims of legal oppression: the 60 million victims of legal abortion, and their mothers and families. No more auction blocks, no more instruments used to dismember and decapitate innocent unborn children; no more shackles, no more bags marked “medical waste” where babies are thrown after being terminated.

Let’s pray for a brighter day for all life, for liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all. Pray for America.
