Revisiting Prophecy after the Hot Meeting at the White House

Talk about a long hot summer… Since my recent visit to the White House on August 1, 2018, the heat has been turned up. Being a part of the group present for an update on President Trump’s prison reform agenda has caused a firestorm in many circles, to say the least.

I Timothy 2:1-2 “Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”>

At the meeting on August 1, the President focused on prison reform and urban initiatives. The session was very encouraging as we received updates on Executive Orders regarding prison reform, the job market and job readiness, aide to foreign nations, life and more… President Trump was very interactive with those around the table. His empowerment agenda is backed by a solid team which includes strong voices in the faith community. As evidenced in his quotes below, President Trump’s position on faith is very clear:

“We will be one people, under one God, saluting one American flag.”

“We will say Merry Christmas again!”

“Our republic was formed on the basis that freedom is not a gift from government. Freedom is a gift from God.”

“Faith is more powerful than government, and nothing is more powerful than God.”

“Across our land, we see the splendor of God’s creation. Throughout our history, we see the story of God’s providence. And in every city and town, we see the Lord’s grace all around us, through a million acts of kindness, courage and generosity. We love God”.

Also, here are some of candidate Donald J. Trump’s campaign promises in 2016. (Note that President Trump has fulfilled most of them.):

• Defend Religious Liberty.
• Represent the unborn.
• Defund Planned Parenthood.
• Appoint conservative jurists to the Supreme Court and federal appeals courts.
• Reinstate the Mexico City Policy (block U.S. federal funds for abortion).
• Rescind the Johnson Amendment.
• Sign the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (2018).
• Move the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.

While I am among those who genuinely love President Trump and his family, I’d like to encourage everyone, even those who do not, to pray in the manner that the scripture above teaches us.

Prior to 2016, during the presidential elections in America, then candidate Donald J. Trump was compared to King Cyrus in the Bible. This comparison led to a wave of prophetic utterances in the communities of faith. While the Trump/Cyrus connection has been the most popular for those seeking spiritual understanding about the state of our nation and the world, there are other analogies worth observing.

David Lane writes for American Renewal Project about “Rahab, Dagon and Donald Trump”

“President Trump may be equated with Rahab in the Book of Joshua. Although a Canaanite by birth, Rahab stood by faith for the unseen God against a pagan culture. She showed by her actions to be the mouthpiece of God. Francis Schaeffer puts Rahab’s political environment into context: “Surrounding Rahab, however, was a hostile (Deep State) … impregnable, or so its inhabitants thought … surrounded by a monolithic mentality (empowered by) a (pagan) worldview … Rahab was pressured by a powerful city and (profane) culture. … At (that exact) moment she could see nothing with her eyes which (would indicate a) fall.”(2)

“The portion of Evangelical and pro-life Catholic Christians who support President Trump do so because he stands firmly against a culture that is increasingly hostile to Biblical Christianity. As one Christian said, ‘I didn’t elect him to be my pastor.’

“The deterioration of a once Biblically-based culture is often cited as the reason that Evangelicals decided to roll the dice with Donald J. Trump in 2016. Having had a year and a half to take his measure, President Trump turns out to be a Samson, willing to do what God’s people have not done. Even Samson’s “parents did not know that this was from the LORD,” on the occasion when Samson was confronting the Philistines.(3)

“Additionally, minority unemployment is at a historical low, the economy is soaring, and ISIS is defeated. There are tax cuts for all. The Courts of Appeals and SCOTUS are being returned to interpreting the law instead of making law, policy, and new rights out of thin air [for example, Obergefell vs Hodges]. Given all this, one particular question still requires an answer from both Democrats and moderate Republicans: “Is the take down of Trump 45 more important than the success of America?”

Success or failure? Which one will we choose? While I’ve often said that I don’t care what people say or think about me, that’s not entirely true. If your hatred for me prevents your being able to receive truth and light, I do care.

“Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?” Galatians 4:16

It’s been a week since the meeting at the White House. I’ve been quiet on the networks since then; licking a few wounds I must admit. People have been very supportive or very hateful to those of us who attended the meeting with POTUS. I’m back now, asking for your prayers, and praying for you. God bless you.

Let Freedom Ring for Everyone

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018

While Independence Day, July 4th, is usually celebrated with bar-b-que cookouts, family gatherings, those kinds of things, there is much beyond the celebratory efforts that demand our prayers. We must give credence to the importance of justice and independence across the spectrum.

Remember, we just celebrated Juneteenth last month. Coming up on August 28, I Have a Dream Day will mark the anniversary of the famous speech MLK gave in 1963 where he noted that there was a check marked ‘Insufficient Funds’; and that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness have not been achieved for all of God’s children.

Here in America we are blessed to have a president who believes in the sanctity of life, from the womb to the tomb. There’s a lot of work going forth out of Washington and around America to end the war in the womb and the human trafficking in this nation and around the world.

At Priests for Life, Fr. Frank Pavone often talks about electing public officials who can ‘tell the difference between serving the public and killing the public.

On Independence Day there’s so much that we have to be thankful for; like family, home, health, and good friends. Someone blessed me with a flag while I was on the road. As we see in the selfie, it’s a lovely flag. I’m grateful for the sentiment. God bless America.

Let’s pray for President Trump as he appoints a new Supreme Court Justice who will further the blessings of life, liberty, and the pursuit happiness. Let Freedom Ring for Everyone!

During the holidays, I reflect on the many lessons learned from my elders, Guardians of the King Family Legacy. My dad, Rev. AD King and my mother, Naomi Ruth Barber King, Granddaddy, Daddy King, Martin Luther King, Jr. will ever remain part of my American Dream.

These are memories, hopes and dreams that we celebrate this season. Let’s never forget that we are One Blood/One Human race with the unique opportunity to “learn to live together as brothers [and sisters]” and not perish together as fools.

Let’s pray for liberty and justice for everyone; enjoy a safe and blessed Independence Day!

As Attacks Mount POTUS Trump Still Delivers: Pray for Unity

Wednesday, June 27th, 2018

Congresswoman Maxine Waters has encouraged people to go out and harass, resist and push back against the Trump administration in restaurants and wherever they are found. Meanwhile Press Secretary Huckabee was kicked out of a restaurant; yet she remains fair and focused while being attacked for doing her job.

On the heels of several recent incidents, Congressman Waters has taken the reins of an already out of control political “resistance movement” in an attempt to solidify in the minds of the American people that there is nothing more to stand on but anger at the success of the Trump administration.

Notably along with WHPS Sanders, White House advisor Stephen Miller was called a fascist at a Mexican restaurant as he dined on June 17.

Also protesters from the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America harassed Department of Homeland Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen as she was having a work dinner at a DC Mexican restaurant. The harassment got so bad that she was forced to leave.

Then the owner of the Red Hen asked White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to leave her restaurant because she works for POTUS.

So Maxine Waters tried to justify her “resistance” actions by reading a list of things that Trump has said.

The difference between Congressman Waters and President Trump is that, while Congressman Waters is calling for incendiary resistance and not offering any solutions, President Trump does have solutions and is keeping his promises and getting as many results as possible from his position as President of the United States.

Just as he promised, to name a few:

• POTUS has appointed a Constitutional conservative to the Supreme Court.
• He has jumpstarted our economy and as a result we now have the lowest unemployment rate in recent history.
• He has signed an executive order to keep Immigrant children and their parents together.
• He has supported pro-life legislation and is undoubtedly the most pro-life president in recent history.
• He has upheld the religious freedom of all Americans.

Two wrongs don’t ever make a right so hurling insults at each other is not the most effective way for humans to communicate. There is a more excellent way.

“But desire earnestly the best gifts: and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.”
1 Corinthians 12:31

So, what can we as Americans do to help President Trump continue to make America great? We can pray; we can elect government officials who will affirm us rather than kill, traffic, abort, euthanize and harm anyone; elect officials who get results for life and help with the pursuit of happiness.

In 2016 I came to an agreement with my family members; no fighting over politics. Over the holidays I wrote a cookbook and also we engaged in the 6 steps for non-violent conflict resolution which emerged in the 20th Century Civil Rights Movement. This process works for reconciliation.

As human beings, we can change the way we interact with each other if we want to steer the proverbial train away from the current course that is otherwise assuredly going to end in unprecedented violence.

Pray for America and the world.

An Unlikely Yet Timely Message for Easter: A Taboo #metoo

Thursday, March 29th, 2018

Depending on your theology, or even lack thereof, we are in Resurrection/Easter season. Rather than address the debates that often ensue around the topic; ie. Did Constantine graft Christian Holy Days onto idolatry ridden feast days? I’m trying to be bold enough to approach the repentance factor that Christ brings to us beyond the Cross and Resurrection.

Dare we consider or even mention a devastating yet all too common practice among saints and sinners in the midst of observance of Easter season which celebrates the birth, ministry, crucifixion and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ? As the question arises, we might ask another: What better time is there for repentance than Easter? Of course, every time is the right time to turn away from sin. Yet this timely message below cries out to be heard now.

Sadly, there is a taboo #metoo movement in the household of faith. At “#ChurchMeToo Movement: A Prophetic Alert to the Body of Christ,” Johnny Enlow of Santa Clarita, CA writes about sexual abuse in the Body of Christ.

In a few days, little children all over the world will be singing a familiar church song: “He [Jesus] Arose.” Yes, Jesus arose and is alive today, softly and tenderly praying for us to turn away from sin. At AlvedaKing.com we proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also confront the lie of the human race being divided into separate races which breeds the sin of racism. We are not color blind. We are created in living color. Acts 17:26 truly proclaims that we are One Blood.

At CivilRightsfortheUnborn.com we deal with the sin of abortion. Johnny Enlow confronts the sin of sexual abuse. What sins are you battling with or hiding today? Easter is a great time to repent and be reconciled to Christ.

Three Headed Monster Revised4

Repent from sin. Return to God!

Much is occurring during this Jubilee season; marked by the number 50. This is the 50 year landmark of the legacy of my uncle, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This is the season of the premier of the life of his brother, my father Rev. AD Williams King. (Trailer)

Ultimately it is the everlasting season to celebrate Jesus!

Happy Easter/Resurrection Day. Please pray for America and the world, every day.

As MLK 50 Looms, Babes and Millennials Proclaim – We Are Not Color Blind!

Wednesday, March 14th, 2018

As we approach the April 4th 50th Anniversary of the earthly departure of my Uncle Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., may we truly seek after the truths he sought to teach us:

“We must learn to live together as brothers [and sisters], or perish together as fools.” Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Someone texted me a social media clip from a young man recently.

The #s caught my attention with a message I learned at my ancestors’ knees. We are One Blood, One Human Race.

Acts 17:26 “And [God has] made of one blood all nations of [humans] to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation…”

While I’m not into calling people fools, we can acknowledge that there is truth in what young Joel Patrick speaks: “If you don’t see color… you are blind. If you judge only by color… you are a fool.”

In context, we can also agree with President Donald John Trump when he says that we are all red blooded [people]: “It’s time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget, that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood…”

The skin color war is at the root of human dissension and division; causing escalating wars, pain and death. There is a “three headed monster” at the heart of these race wars. Racism, Sexual Perversion and Reproductive Genocide work together to destroy our lives. Resist them in prayer and positively defined action.

Three Headed Monster Revised4

As an important footnote, with looming midterm and 2020 elections, let’s not forget in the lofty towers of government and on society’s highways and byways, that minority votes and presence at the tables count. It will always be a grievous error to overlook and or deliberately exclude participation of a people group because of skin color bias. Minority votes count!

Again, Acts 17:26 says that we are One Blood. In that context, we are the Human Race. Skin Color is a gift from God. We are not color blind; we are not designed or intended for racial division; we are praying to unite in love and in living color.

Together, as The Human Race, with the help of God, we can overcome the darkness. Pray children, pray.

The Reconciled Church Responds to Charlottesville’s Macedonian Call

Thursday, November 30th, 2017

Alveda 171122“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Acts 16:9

Greetings, my brothers and sisters of faith. May God bless you as you gather on December 2, to pray for peace and racial healing, not only for Charlottesville, but for our nation and the world.

Our friend and brother in Christ Bishop Harry Jackson has heard and responded to your clarion call and has alerted the Reconciled Church with the “urgency of now.” We join you now in faith, love and corresponding action as you pray and strategize from your base in Charlottesville.

To the concerned ministers and faith community of Charlottesville who have called for prayer and action to end all violence and racial injustice, we stand with you today. You have issued a Macedonian Call to the Christian community to gather for Healing4Charlottesville, a day of prayer and repentance after the tragic events of August 12 made the city a symbol of racial violence. We stand with you.

As the One Blood/One Human Race of Acts 17:26, we agree that repentance and forgiveness together are keys to the healing we all need. May God’s Word bring love, truth, redemption and light to Charlottesville and indeed our hurting world.

God bless you today and always as you gather to march, pray, repent, forgive and worship together.

In a markedly different “Women’s March” from the one the day after the 2017 presidential inauguration, women responded to a clarion call from Lou Engle of TheCall.com and gathered on the D.C. Mall to RISE UP and pray in the rain yesterday.

Joined by national men prayer leaders such as Dr. Raleigh Washington of Promise Keepers and Rev. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life who offered apologies for abuse of women and the abortion of millions of babies there were remarkable moments of Repentance, Forgiveness and Healing throughout the day.

Leaders and thousands gathered from all ethnic groups and prayed for ethnic unity based on the themes of one race united from the Acts 17:26 message of one human race, “One Blood,” as the message of Esthers and Deborahs joined by Mordecais with women, mothers and daughters “rising up” and praying for spiritual transformation prevailed throughout the day.

At one intense moment, after Alveda King quoted Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. “We must learn to live together as brothers [and sisters] or perish together as fools,” Cindy Jacobs of Generals International sobbed on her knees in Apology to Black women prayer leaders; “I’m sorry we didn’t protect your babies.” Alveda King of Civil Rights for the Unborn embraced Jacobs in a prayer of unity and forgiveness.

America, Take the Knee!

There are challenges with today’s young people wanting to “take the knee” and turn their backs on our National Anthem and our American Flag. As we honor our nation, it would be good to extend the tradition of honoring America, not by attacking cherished symbols, but by including everyone in the conversations in peace and nonviolence. I for one would like to see the Negro National Anthem (Lift Every Voice and Sing) included in tributes to our nation.

What’s missing in this situation is a lack of balance due to the lack of knowledge regarding the complete and complicated history of the founding and ongoing American struggle for liberty for all Americans; whether it be civil war, war with other nations, domestic squabbles, etc. Our people are truly perishing for lack of knowledge.

Why is the “protest knee” approved while the “freedom to pray knee” forbidden? Both are constitutional.

“Taking the Knee” is a football or military term used to break an impasse; can also apply to taking a breather or saying a prayer. America truly is at an impasse. So we take the Knee to God. We need to take the knee to DEFUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD!

With all of the current painful debates regarding immigration versus national safety and security along with the horrific hostile overthrow of statues and monuments across the country we need to take the Knee. Remember: God warns us to keep away from idols. Fights over statues of “heroes” that cause race wars and fights over patriotic symbols can reek of idolatry.

“You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the LORD your God.” Leviticus 26:1

Acts 17:26: God created all human beings of one blood; so regardless of skin color, we are one human race.

Keep it positive. Avoid disruptive news spin. Let’s continue to pray for our president and all in authority so that we can live peaceful lives. (1Timothy 2:2)

Actually there’s a lot of money at stake in sports, immigration, national memorials, etc. We all have our rants. With all the dissension among us, let’s remember that money can be a liberator or a trap. We are one red blooded race. Racism is a sin. Statues are idols. Our cherished flag and national anthem are under God, not to be worshipped. It’s time to teach and engage the Six Steps of Nonviolent Conflict Resolution.

For the record, in The Beloved Community, God loves everyone; you, me, NFL players, unborn, rich, poor, old, sick, confused. There is far too much bickering over idolatry. Everyone should “take the knee” in prayer, and ask God to heal America. It’s truly time for America to Return to God.

America is Distraught and Distracted by Free Abortions, SOBs, Fallen Idols and Foreign Feuds; Cease Fire, Take the Knee and Pray!

AD King, Fred Shuttlesworth, Andrew Young 1960s – “The Knee”

The daily news reports are becoming more and more unbelievable! With the Defund Planned Parenthood Debate looming, Congress has yet to defund PP. Meanwhile abortionists are still offering free death care abortions to hurricane victims. With all the death and devastation that Hurricane Harvey brought to Texas and Louisiana what the people need is life affirming help; shelter, food, clothing, real healthcare, and yes, when pregnant, they need pre-natal care; not killer abortions.

Mothers need love and support; not abortion. If for no other reason we need to end taxpayer dollars to abortion providers who are able to offer free abortions in the face of storms; the Harvey victims, the Irma victims, all the storms victims. America is hurting and killing people is not going to help heal our land. Please America, wake up! Abortion is not healthcare! Pray for America, and choose life!

Whats Next After Tragedy

Remembering the Pain of Abortion and the Loss of Our Children in the Wake of 9/11 Memorial

Thursday, September 7th, 2017

170907 blog image

“Don’t you see that children are GOD ’s best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don’t stand a chance against you; you’ll sweep them right off your doorstep.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭127:3-5‬ ‭MSG‬‬

As the 9/11 Anniversary looms, let us not forget the loss of our unborn.

September 9th is National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. As we solemnly observe this anniversary, we must remember and repent. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Every day over 3,000 children are aborted in America. This staggering number takes a toll on our whole nation; spirit, soul and body. In the African American community the numbers are disproportionately high due to the mission of genocide and eugenics agenda of Planned Parenthood, America’s largest abortion provider. Abortion is a bad product for babies and their mothers. Abortions kill babies and hurt women.

And to make things worse, abortion providers many times seize the opportunity to exploit natural disasters, like Hurricane Harvey, by capitalizing from the pain and circumstances that these victims find themselves in, one of the most stressful times in their lives.

One particular provider, Whole Women’s Health, is offering “no-cost abortions” to victims of Hurricane Harvey. So many of these people have lost their homes, personal property, and sometimes loved ones and of they take up abortion providers on their offer they will also compound their situations by grieving with the death of a lost unborn child. Let’s also remember, there is no such thing as a “cost-free abortion.” There is always a cost. The cost is the life of the baby and the harm caused to the mother, the immediate family and the human family.

This year as we observe the memorial deaths of our aborted brothers and sisters, two of my own babies included in that number, let us pray a prayer of Repentance and commitment to never be silent, never be passive and never be forgetful until all of our brothers and sisters are protected and our nation once again becomes a nation with liberty and justice for all.

Let us encourage our President and Congress to keep the commitment to Defund Planned Parenthood.

Finally, let us pray for all in authority; our President and all leaders (1 Timothy 2:2), that we can live peacefully; and that our babies can live. God bless America.
