Juneteenth 2015 - Selma, AL

Get on Board for Life!Juneteenth, Civil Rights Anniversary, Independence Day:

Get on Board for Life!
Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth Independence Day, Freedom Day, or Emancipation Day, is a holiday in the United States that commemorates the announcement of the abolition of slavery in the U.S. state of Texas on June 19, 1865, and more generally the emancipation of African-American slaves throughout the Confederate South.

Today, there is still a class of citizens that are not free. They are “slaves” to choice and are treated as property to be discarded at will. The vulnerable and pre-born babies in the womb do not have a voice and can be killed at will by abortion. This is the Civil Rights Movement of today and the vehicle for their emancipation is the Pro-Life Movement.

In 2010, AAO took Pro-Life Freedom Rides to Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina. This year we are proclaiming Jubilee for unborn babies, mothers, families and America. Of one blood, God created all people. Life is a Civil Right. We proclaim civil rights for the unborn!

"This Juneteenth has the potential to be the most vibrant and historic observance yet of this important day, because awareness is growing, among Blacks and whites alike, of the unspeakable devastation wrought by abortion. Nobody who honors the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr., and nobody who claims to admire the Civil Rights movement, can ignore abortion any longer, or be silent any longer about it. In Selma and across America, the violence must stop now!" - Fr. Frank Pavone

Catherine Davis, national prolife spokesperson is leading the charge.  Join the virtual streaming or live grassroots bus tour to Selma on Juneteenth, June 19, 2015 for a rally and a march across the Pettus Bridge on June 20th.” Alveda King

Just a few months ago, America was reminded of the horrors visited upon Blacks in Selma as they marched for equal voting rights fifty years ago. The images of men, women and even children falling at the hands of baton wielding police is forever etched in our minds. Even though he repented near the end of his life, Governor George Wallace will forever be remembered as the one who allowed the state’s police force to gas, strike and maim in the name of segregation.

Fifty years ago Selma was a picture of all that was wrong with Jim Crow America.

Today, Selma is a picture of what is wrong with abortion.

During her lifetime, Planned Parenthood Founder, Margaret Sanger, was a KKK advisor who said "colored people need to be exterminated." She paved the way for the high numbers of abortion.

Spilling over from previous decades into the 21st century, abortionists have established a pattern of injuring and sometimes killing women many times in violation of a number of state laws.

And, when the infractions are reported or the violations confirmed, many, if not most, states have established a pattern of turning a blind eye, allowing them to break, repeatedly, the laws as written on the books effectively rendering them null and void.

We say no more! We agree with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

We agree with the WORD OF GOD:  "I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed;"(Deuteronomy 30:19 ASV)

Black women are being butchered and maimed in these substandard abortion clinics and the states are allowing it to happen right under our noses. Join us in saying no more! Join us in declaring -- Catherine Davis

"When people first hear about the Juneteenth Holiday, they are surprised to discover this significant event in history. On June 19-20, 2015, we of the Alabama community will be joined by people from all over America to pray at the Christ the King Cathedral in Selma on June 19. Then on Saturday, we will march across the historic Edmund Pettus Bridge. The Civil Rights Movement of the 20th Century meets the Civil Rights Movement of Century 21. Join us in honoring the mothers and children who have been killed by abortion, and remind America that freedom for some must mean freedom for all."

Break the codes:

Skin Color and Race are often the hidden factors in allowing abortion for rape and incest. Not wanting to admit that they believe that "black babies on the dole are a problem" some lawmakers claim compassion while upholding abortion to avoid interracial births. Rape and incest exceptions are often code words used to mask racial discrimination. It's a dirty little secret still hidden today. It's time to tell the truth.

Abortion cannot cure rape, incest, human trafficking, skin color disputes or any human problems, issues and conditions. Only love can do that.

Abortion, infanticide and genocide are as old as sin, reaching as far back as ancient Bible days. God's love is the cure.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son..." John 3:16

The Skin color war has divided the human race for far too long!

Acts 17:26: "Of one Blood, GOD made all humans to dwell together in the face of the earth."

Dr. MLK wanted a beloved community where skin color would be celebrated, not used to kill and destroy

" I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Martin Luther King, Jr.

Remember Kermit Gosnell’s House of Horrors? ( The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania knew of his violations long before he killed Karnamaya Mongar in 2009. They knew back in 2000 when he butchered Semika Shaw who later died as a result of his handiwork. Gosnell was not the exception. There are cases reported all over the country of abortion doctors breaking state and federal laws and the states ignoring the violations allowing woman after woman to be subject to unsafe, unsanitary practices. Currently, Samuel Lett, an abortionist in Selma is a glaring example of this.
